Our Work

Inclusive Performing Arts is all about opening the doors of creativity so every body can take part. We design accessible workshops, performances and creative opportunities for disabled, D/deaf and neurodivergent children, young people and adults.

Our work centres on removing barriers, nurturing confidence, and celebrating individuality through the arts.

The Inclusive Performing Arts Festival

IMG_8049.jpg

The Inclusive Performing Arts Festival is a joyful, day-long celebration of creativity, community and representation.

Designed with inclusivity at it's heart, the festival brings together disabled, D/deaf and neurodivergent performancers, groups and audiences from across Bedfrodshire and beyond.

From main stage performances to sensory friendly workshops, every element is shaped so that all ages and every body can take part.

Our mission is simple: create a cultural space where disabled, D/deaf and neurodivergent artists are seen, supported and celebrated. Not as an afterthought or addition but as the centre of the story.

Inclusive Performing Arts Schools Mini Festival

New to 2026! The Inclusive Performing Arts School's Festival will bring the magic of the main festival directly into SEND and mainstream primary schools.

Through collaborative workshops and tailored support, we will work with pupils to co-create original performance pieces that culminate in a joyful celebration event.

Accessible Theatre Reviewing Scheme

Our Accessible Theatre Reviewing Scheme opens the doors to the arts by giving disabled, D/deaf and neurodivergent community members the chance to experience, review and respond to live theatre.

Teaming up with multiple Theatre's in the area, the scheme not only amplifies underrepresented voices in the arts, but also helps theatres learn, listen and grow. By sharing real experiences, our reviewers actively shape a more welcoming and more inclusive cultural landscape

Workshops

Our workshops are designed to adapt to every participant's needs. We blend dance, movement, crafts, music and storytelling to create sessions that are playful, sensory and person-centred.

We deliver workshops in:

  • SEND, Mainstream Schools and Colleges,

  • Community groups and youth settings,

  • Charities and outreach programmes.

Whether exploring movement, building characters, responding to music or developing a performance piece, every individual is supported to participate in a way that feels comfortable, empowering and meaningful.
